Is there a cost to see an Insight Dietitian?

More and more insurance companies are seeing the benefits of their members receiving preventative health care, and so MNT is often a covered service.

Medicare Part B recipients may qualify to receive MNT for diagnosis of diabetes, heart disease, chronic renal insufficiency or recent kidney transplant.

Health insurance companies such as Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, GHP and others often will reimburse for Insight Dietitian services for diabetes, heart disease and other diseases. We suggest contacting your health insurance carrier before your visit to be sure they will cover nutrition counseling by a registered dietitian for your health condition.

How do I find an Insight Dietitian?

A great thing about Insight Dietitians is that we are ideally located right in your doctor's office! No more worrying about where to find the "Dietitian's Office". We have arranged to be at your doctor's office on certain days, according to your doctor's needs. Ask your doctor if you could see an Insight Dietitian.
