To bring expert nutrition care to physicians and their patients, in an efficient and economical manner. Our goal is to achieve positive patient outcomes for all patients through ongoing support with medical nutrition therapy.
Our Staff & Qualifications
Deanne Marselle MA, RD, LD
Deanne began her professional career as a registered dietitian in 1990 after obtaining her Bachelor's degree from the University of North Dakota and later obtained a master's degree in management in 1996 from Webster University. Her background consists of clinical nutrition in acute care settings, food service management in acute care and long term care facilities, university professor, consultant dietitian sales, and Medicare accreditation.
Deanne's passion to develop Insight Dietitians comes from the increasing nutrition-related health concerns of our society and the need to help people translate the often-confusing nutrition messages into common sense advice for healthy eating, especially people suffering with nutrition-related disease conditions who would benefit from a physician-dietitian team working together.
Tanya Smith RD, LD
Tanya is a registered, licensed dietitian who has been working in the health care field for more than 12 years. She completed her degree in dietetics at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and has supervised practice internships at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois. Tanya's interest in health, wellness, and nutrition drew her to dietetics. Since beginning her professional career, she has worked with many different populations within an in and out patient setting… from diabetes and hyperlipidemia to long term care. Tanya is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the Illinois Dietetic Association, and the St. Louis Dietetic Association.
She, like Deanne is excited to be able to introduce MNT to physicians and patients to provide a valuable reimbursable service for the public.
Kellee Marshall MS, RD, LD
Kellee is a registered, licensed dietitian in the states of Illinois and Missouri. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics at Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau and her Master’s Degree of Science with an emphasis in nutrition education at Eastern Illinois University, Charleston. Kellee has professional experience in both acute care (including outpatient nutrition counseling) and long term care.
Rachel Matusiak RD, LD
Rachel is a registered, licensed dietitian in the state of Missouri. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in dietetics at Southeast Missouri State University, Cape Girardeau and graduate coursework at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. Rachel is currently finishing her thesis and will graduate with her Master’s degree in Administration in the fall. Rachel aspires to help people obtain overall good health and wellness to prevent nutrition-related diseases. Rachel enjoys working one-on-one with patients to achieve their wellness goals.
